Symphony No. 6 by L.W. Beethoven's so-called "Pastorale" admirably expresses multiple human emotions in relation to nature: from the "awakening of serene feelings upon arrival in the countryside" to the last movement of "feelings of joy and gratitude after the storm".

 

Our family of musicians has always "tasted the harmony" of our beloved grandfather Angelantonio's oil, which gives peace to our desire to savor the good, just as the notes of Beethoven's genius express in such a descriptive way. In fact, the "pastoral" events of joy and pure sharing of the olive harvest in the company of our entire family, which marked our childhood and youth, are imprinted in our hearts and memories.

Our oil comes from 59 trees planted in land 7 km from the town of Vieste in 1950 by our good great-grandfather Angelantonio, a farmer and tireless cultivator of the land.

This is extra virgin olive oil, obtained from the first pressing of olives through mechanical processes, therefore without resorting to processes with chemical substances, in conditions that do not cause alterations of the extra virgin oil and whose free acidity, expressed in oleic acid, does not it is higher than 0.8%

The pressing is cold: it means that the temperature during pressing did not exceed 27 degrees, as established by the EC. Low temperatures prevent oxidation processes, which alter the flavor and quality of the oil. On the contrary, high temperatures cause the oil to lose some of the organoleptic properties that distinguish it (Polyphenols and tocopherols, which help digestion, reduce cholesterol levels and protect the body from inflammatory processes and aging).

 

Our oil is also organic, meaning the cultivation of the olive tree takes place without the use of pesticides, chemical fertilizers, herbicides or pesticides.

 

The resulting flavor is the right mix of intensity and sweetness, due to the 2 varieties of olives typical of our territory: Ogliarola and Coratina.

Furthermore, it is said to "sting", thanks to the polyphenols which combat free radicals and have the aforementioned beneficial effects on the body.
